Jenkins at the Castle
This was the headline in the Express & Star which greeted us on the 11th April 2007. It refers to the opera soprano, Katherine Jenkins, who will performing in Dudley Castle courtyard on 9th June. We are told that tickets are already on sale, though not where or the price.
It is also reported that other big names are being lined up to perform during this year, among them, Rolf Harris and Status Quo, though no dates are given for these.
If all goes to plan, and the weather holds for these performances, it will certainly raise the profile of the Castle.
